The Department member Tomaž Lukman was awarded with the Fulbright grant for the academic year 2009/2010

Tomaž Lukman, who is a young researcher at our Department, was awarded with the Fulbright grant, which will enable him to investigate semantic formalisms for domain-specific modeling languages. In the academic year 2009/2010 he will be a visiting researcher at the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, which is a part of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA. During his 9-months research stay he will be mentored by Prof. Dr. Jeff Gray-a.

The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to “increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries”. The Fulbright Foreign Student Program brings more than 1,800 foreign students from 144 countries to U.S. universities each year. Tomaž is one of the two representatives from Slovenia who were selected as Fulbright Students for the next academic year.
