Best paper award nomination for the conference paper on modelling and simulation of polymerization process at international ISC'09 conference

ISC, Industrial Simulation Conference, is an annual international conference, launched in 2003, that integrates scientific academic research with hands-on industrial simulation applications. Its aim is to be the major European meeting on the use of simulation in industry.

This-year-conference was organised by the Loughborough University, UK. Our contribution at the conference was an extended paper entitled "Modelling, Simulation and Control of a Semi-Batch Industrial Polymerization Reactor", authors Nadja Hvala, Teodora Miteva and Dolores Kukanja, that addresses optimisation of batch duration for polymerization process in MITOL factory. The paper is a result of research within the EU 6th Framework project PRISM. The paper was within 9 nominated papers for the best paper award of this conference.
